You should move your mouth a fair amount to say anything that ends in "-eh". Is there really that much of a difference in pursing your lips together to make an "M" sound and putting your tongue behind your bottom teeth to make a "Z" sound?
"Meh" is a word that symbolises a lack of effort - the amount of thought and energy involved with moving your tongue is far more noticeable than that of moving your jaw.

I say "meh" sometimes. I'm pretty sure that episode of The Simpsons is from the latter part of the 90's, so it'd be hard to find out where it originated from.
95% of the things I type are pretty much what I'd say in the given situation. I'm a firm believer that at least half of the arguments that begin online start from someone misreading what you type, the expression and all that... so it's important (to me) to type out stuff as close as possible to what I'd say in person. Or something. Yeah. I'm weird, but at least everyone who's met me in person hasn't seen much difference :D?Quote:
