My cows in Harvest Moon are called Kitty and Starry Star. Umm, those are about the best names I can come up with.

In Harvest Moon, I named my cows, Jun and Jin. I was obsessed with Tekken at the time.

I'd name mine Beast, or Killer, or ROAR I'LL EAT YOUR BABIES.

"Go feed Roar I'll Eat Your Babies, now. >=o"

How about Dog or Fido, so you can take it for a walk and ask people if they wana see Dog/Fido and a great big cow comes running over :D wow how weird would that be seeing someone taking a cow for a walk down the road.
