deathblow, bahamut, all that stuff'll help alot. even if nail bat doesn't have ne growth or slots, still use it. you can get AP ANYWHERE, so don't worry about it now. big guard, like Sephiroth1999AD said, will help. that's about it, and have phoenix downs, or life (if u can get it yet), and cure on everyone'll help to
That would be trying MUCH harder than necessary. It took me 2 tries to beat this thing, it isn't THAT hard. I didn't even have the nail bat, or any Enemy Skills.Quote:

the key is to cast barrier and haste on the whole party, regen would help alot to and if this strategy dosen`t work you should give up now
not true alls u need is alot a few phoenix downs, and possibly some potions and healing magic, and can u get barrier/haste by then?
Here is the strategy that I use. Keep in mind that I fight this guy at a level of under 20.
Everyone in the back row. Its murder otherwise.
Aeris will constantly heal with cure or here level 1 limit. Be in Fury.
Next person will have choco-mog linked with added effect on the weapon. No Fury.
Cloud uses the level 1-2 limit break. Fury.
When demon gate is frozen I use my powerful summons w/Aeris.
Thats my strat and it kicks total ass. Nothing else is needed as Demon's Gate can't move most of the time.
you should also go get the Enemy Skill Big Gaurd (Manipulate Big Plugs on the Costa Del Sol Beach line ) wich gives you Wall+Haste wich will cut his attacks down to a Reasonable 600ish?

If you wanna defeat it... use vincent, Cloud, and Aeris... I didn't put vincent into his over drive...make sure you have life2 equip that to aeris's make sure to also have cure3 on aeris as well use poison i forgot if it works and have comet2 fire3 ice3 and bolt3...also have aeris to her ultimate limit break....well that's how i did it even though Cloud didn't survive the match....heh
u get comet after the temple of the ancinets buddy sheesh. and to get lv.3 spells'd take FOREVER

umm...srry! oh yeah...that's right........i forgot sheesh i've only gotten to the 3rd disk once! and i don't play to much!!! in fact....i only played ummm...let's see about....4 months ago and that's just any video game! i'm a movie person.... oh yeah i forgotabout comet! my game fluked up then...i already had comet materia! 0.0 oh well it usually dose anyways........haaa...oh well srry every one! ^_^'

my main strat was to get the princess guard (i think that is what it is) and load aerith up with most of my summons the just unload on him
you might also want to go to the fossle city and go into the forest and get kajata it will do tons of damage
better than my stratagy.
