Well, we don't really celebrate halloween in Norway. The stores wants us to buy all their http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gifhttp://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/lovesmile.gifty halloween stuff and costumes so they'll sell more but most of us doesn't celebrate it and the rest just buys in candy so their house won't be egged. Nobody has ever come to my house on halloween tho' :p
Stupid commercial holidays. It annoys me that the stores gets away with this stuff :/ Same applies for Valentine's day. Commercial crap. "Buy lots of crap from us so we get a lot of money, or your girlfriend will get angry at you! It's a win win situation! (for everybody but you!)"
The only holidays accepted by me is Christmas and Easter.
I think there's a permanent curfew in southern California for people under 18... I think it's either at 9pm or 10pm. I don't know of any special Halloween curfew, though... 8 does sound a little harsh... but a lot of stupid kids act up during Halloween.
This is a little off topic, but it's confusing how people complain about police giving you tickets and stuff for minor offenses like staying past curfew and say they should 'go fight real crime', yet when they don't ticket the minor offenses, they're called lazy and stupid...Quote:
