Is your first FF game your favorite?

My first Final Fantasy was FF9, but 8 is my favorite, followed closly by 6.

Actually, that's only the suggested retail price. The stores can sell the product for as much or little as they want. After the stores buy the game off of Squaresoft, Squaresoft couldn't care less how much the stores sell them for.
But yeah, you said you're in Canada, and I don't know the price differences for that, so that might be the reason as well.

Actually, Final Fantasy VII is more like...not my favourite. *gasp*

I'd easily give up a chance to replay VII to replay VIII, VI, IX, IV. In that order.

No, my favourite is FF6, but the first one was FF4, more than 10 years ago.

my first ff game was viii and you guessed it, it's my favourite. i love x as well but viii does hold a kind of nostalgia for me and i feel connected to it's characters.

FF VII

Mine was for a while (FFVII) until I played more FF's and realised that FFVII really wasn't THE BEST in my opinion. FFIX is my favourite which I played kinda second/third.

The first one I played was FFIX and then I played FFVII and it became my favorite.

FFIV was my first, and despite the poor English translation it is my favorite of the series and always will be.
