Not a big fan of him, but he is an okay actor. he isnt very hot like the girls say though.
*sigh* Is no place safe from that ass-clown?
DiCaprio is a great actor, he deserved an Oscar nomination for both Titanic and Catch Me if You Can, and he was pretty great in Gangs of New York as well.
And after seeing The Aviator, I have no doubt that Leonardo has a Best Actor nomination LOCKED DOWN. Good lord, he's absolutely captivating as Howard Hughes.
DiCaprio is much like Johnny Depp in that they both go beyond just the pretty face and anyone who thinks that either of them are only "ok" actors probably haven't seen them in their finer performances (The Aviator for DiCaprio, and Finding Neverland for Depp).
I am very happy to see that Mr. DiCaprio has not become content to be a teenage poster child but has persued more ambitious projects and I think that, more than being a handsome fellow will endear him to people as he will continue to grow and develop as an actor.
As for Johnny Depp, he may well go down as one of the greatest actors in movie history, bar none. Take a look at the roles he's played and each one is entirely unique, entirely developed, and entirely and fully committed to, which is the mark of someone who really enjoys acting and takes is seriously.
Take care all.
I liked him in 'Titanic', after that I just saw him on 'The man in the mask'. 'The Beach' I didn't like it and I didn't see 'Gangester of New York' and 'Catch me if you can'. But well I liked him on Titanic... he was very good at the paper... he reminds me James Dean...
Only good movie with him in it is Romeo and Juliet, in my option. I don't like him very much.
i met him and his relatives are nice...plus he has german in him and we will b in a movie together when were famous
I rather liked Catch Me if you Can, Romeo and Juliette just struck me as really cheesy, but it was probably the way they chose to do it more than anything else. He's not a bad actor, by any stretch of the imagination, I'm merely indifferent.
I think he's really matured in his acting career since Titanic... he went into a slump for a while (The Beach??), but starting with Catch Me if You Can, he really started showing his acting chops. He's proving that he can be a really versatile actor and more than just a pretty face. I recently saw Aviator and he was absolutely excellent in it.
hes part german????Quote:
