THF is good once you lvl up to a seizable lvl and actually try to fight beastmen regularly. Also knowing where good item drops and picking them is a good requirement.

im level 75 rng, lvl 74 sam, and lvl 71 thf, i just hunt down NMs and farm tigers for fangs, also do HNM & BCNM.
