Is Unlimited Saga any good?

dont listen to anyone who says its good cause its the worst game ive ever played. Its so boring

I heard it was really bad i wouldn't advise it, you at least want to rent it first.

I dunno if it's really fair to make a reccomendation on a game you haven't played...

Well, I got it a few days ago but hadn't played it until last night because I was busy completing another game and hate trying to play two games at once.

The first thing that impressed me is the packaging. I don't know what it looks like outside of Europe, but over here it looks like a "special edition" boxset made of cardboard with artwork all over it. It certainly looks the part in my game collection!

On to the game itself, let's just say I started playing it at 8pm and was still plugging away at it come 3:30am! It's very different from anything I have played before, but in a good way. I find it extremly addictive, and even though it doesn't blow one away, it's definately a refreshing change of pace. Playing this game relaxes me, with it's lovely 2d artwork and its pleasant tunes, it's easy to lose oneself in it.

I really like the "reels" system that this game uses. It's the most original battle system I have seen in an RPG in some time. Also the HP- LP sytem is very novel. Athough, I was as confused as hell at first when my characters were on 0hp and were not dead! But you soon get the hang of it.

I think it's highy complex however. Probably the most intricate gaming system I have witnessed. Did you know that there is actually an ecology sub-system in full force? It's extremly in-depth.

I can clearly see why this game is not everyones cup of tea, but the same reasons why people don't like it are precisely the same reasons why I do. I feel that, like a book, it lets you use your imagination.

Aww man, now *I* want it!

I passed it up for Breath of Fire V a year ago but as soon as Ive saved a bit I plan to buy it on ebay.
