The problem is that the Democrats seem to be shying away from the very thing that makes Dean so strong. They are afraid that they will lose face because of him, and their inability to gamble could cause them to recess even further than they already have.
Indeed, and when you let your opponents set the debate as the Dems have allowed the Republicans to do, you can never win and will always come off as weak or as attacking and not making points.

Obviously, the corporate media had to make a big deal out of something in order to bring his image down. Because let's face it, having a presidential candidate who opposed corporate ownership of the media would have been far too dangerous.
Regardless, Dean's scream largely embodied my reaction to hearing this news. It's excellent, to say the least.
Dean is awesome. I'm sick of the Dems being pansy-ass losers. When you can't beat an incompetent like GWB then you know your party has problems.
