It's fun in a repetitive sort of way.
I got my way to the jupiter sigil by just trying to level up all the coolest players in the back-- Jassu, Shuu, and Datto:D
who cares about biggs and wedge?

It doesn't count for completion.
Unless I had some extra from the second game. I never bothered with it.
Itīs nice to hear that Iīm not the only one who didnīt understand that game.
It really sucks.
I thought that it might be a great game because it had so long rules etc.. and then...
it turn out to be something really terrible.
*Huh*
I actually liked blitzball in X. Sure Nimrook is beyond annoying to get throughbut All my charecters are the best with starting stats. 1st game was retarded the Aurochs suck.
I liked Blitzball. I thought it was fun, not the funnest thing in the world, but fun enough. When you have no more techs to copy, then it can get kind of boring. But I was only at level 30ish when I got the Jupiter Sigil and had only gotten all the key techs for Tidus, Keepa and Botta, so I never got bored with it. I can imagine that if I kept playing to a point where there were no more techs to copy and I was just blitzing, then it would get old.
You can get my Nimrook by withering him, or with the Jecht Shot right by him, and the Sphere Shot sometimes works as well.
I loved Blitzball. One man's meat is another's poison I suppose. Blitzball in X-2 was utterly, utterly &^%&^%* Though. Hated it.
The FFX-2 one is horrendous.
I think Blitzball is neat myself, I just suck horribly at it and hate playing it because I don't understand it and it takes forever.
And since when can you not move freely in blitzball? O__o
lol..the fact that you never knew you could move freely could be why you sucked at it. You press, i think, square or triangle when you are in possesion n chose Manual 1 or 2, the difference is only the camera angle, stick to 1. You have an amazing freedom of action n that's when you can start owning.
What all do you have to do to get the Sigil and Wakka's weapon, or whatever the hell else you can get from blitzball?
I kinda like it. This is the first time I've played X, and it seems alright to me. It's kinda weird that it's in the save spheres, though, so you can be in the middle of trying to get out of some fiend-infested forest and be like "hey, what the hell, I could go for a game".
You need to first win 'Attack Reels' which comes up as a Tournament prize, then Status Reels & Auroch Reels which both come up as League prizes unless I'm very much mistake, then the League prizes should be his sigil. The reload trick is your friend here.
Before looking at the Blitzball prizes (and menu) save, then go, see if it has any you need, if not, reload, check & continue. For the League prizes you dont get a choice, if you go to the blitrzball menu it automatically goes to league, so as soonm as you finish the first one, dont continue, go out of the Blitz menu & save & repeat above. It saves a hell of a lotta time, I mean, I liked Blitz, but not THAT much.
Not the best minigame of all time, but I liked Blitzball a lot. It reminded me of Tecmo Cup Soccer. It's an RPG. This means it does not happen in real time. You don't really think that Seymour would just sit there letting Tidus carefully figure out what attack to use, do you? Of course not! RPG combat is meant to be representational. Even in FFXI you can watch your sword go right through an enemy only to have the phrase "MISS!" taunt you.
Only thing I didn't like about Blitzball is that it's not well paced, but otherwise it's pretty fun to completely dominate the Ronso Fangs and the Kilika Beasts. It needed tweaking, but it was a good start.
