No, Sephiroth is not the guy in the wheelchair. Firstly, (SPOILER)Rufus is the guy in the wheelchair, and secondly, look at the pics posted in this thread.

i think those times when you see sephiroth they are just memories and the scenes with aeris are like those dreams people have said they had when someone they knew really well who was dead was talking to them and(guiding them??)

in a trailer that i just saw it vincent said "they could make a new sephiroth if they wanted to." and it shows him later in the trailer he probably will be in it not as a flashback.
