Tifa... somehow, I doubt that she hasn't had something with someone, but who could guess. She later goes on to running a bar in a slum, which begins explaining her attire

Red XIII... he's the only of his kind, and he's not into humans, so it's safe to assume he's not very active
Sephiroth... it would explain alot about him to find out he never got laid, but somehow, as a famous war hero, he probably got his share. Then again, with all his complexes, he may have killed them first.

It's hard to consider a character as a slut, if we haven't even confirmed they've had sex in the first place.

Barret is a widower, so we can assume he's gotten action.
Tifa doesnt seem the type I dont think, she's far far too shy and still hung up on Cloud. I think she's too busy to... em... get busy.
Cid, being his age.. he's probably scored once or twice in his life.

And we all know Cloud and Sephiroth got it on during the Nibelheim mission.

Oh give him more credit than that. The fact that he's called "the Captain" alone must have gotten him tons of tail. Plus he's a loudmouthed abusive jerk, so that's at least ten more girls he must have had.

The characters inn FFVII aren't THAT inexperienced or 'innocent'. In one section we encounter cross-dressing for the purposeof seducing a man, THE HONEY BEE INN, and three party members posing as prostitutes. It was bright and colourful, not very good graphics, and it was funny, but it still happened.

Yes Aeris was in a church, but that means... actually what does that mean? Is religion actually mentioned much, or at all in the game? The only vague reference is the Cosmo Canyon stuff, but that hasn't a lot of bearing on views about sex.

Seeing as how the way that scene plays out is as dependent on the choices the player has Cloud make as the date scene in the Gold Saucer earlier in the game, the debate concerning it really shouldn't have endured as long as it has.

If one has him be extremely nice to even relatively nice to Tifa, the scene will play out in a manner that would potentially suggest they had sex, however, the scene isn't static. It can be different. If the player doesn't have Cloud's affection level with Tifa be really high, a good deal of the affectionate dialogue is removed. With that in mind, I wouldn't characterize the scene with the suggestion as canon. There really shouldn't be a debate about this scene any more than there should be a debate about who Cloud's date in the Gold Saucer was really with.

Theres a change in dialogue? Do you have the script for both scenarios?

They do this to Rikku as well, you will find her in many compromising positions with Auron without even trying to look.

I mean isn't that what Playboy is for?

I agree. I'm not saying that Aeris definitely is, but she's definitely more fitting to be the slutty one than Tifa is. She 's better for the part.....her innocent flower girl appearance, who blatantly flirts with Cloud ALL the time, no matter who's around.

Tifa and Cloud were supposed to be childhood sweethearts, or something, weren't they? That doesn't fit the slutty part to me.

Admittedly, I've never tested the validity of this myself, as I simply didn't feel like spending 40 to 50 hours trying to test this by being as merciless to Tifa throughout the game as possible and never using her in battle, but I had heard about it from a source some time ago that I considered fairly reliable and read about it on this website. The most notable thing about the site is that it has screenshots. I suppose it possible that they could have been altered (the text screenshots wouldn't have been terribly difficult to alter, I suppose). However, the last one where Tifa is standing over at the windows of the Highwind makes me doubt it, though I suppose it possible that even that could be a forgery.

Part of me would like to say that it is authentic, as it would mean there really is no point in debating this too often debated matter -- it usually descending into silliness or a battle between the pro-Aerith for Cloud and pro-Tifa for Cloud folks -- yet on another level I wish it weren't, as it would mean that Cloud really was opening up to Tifa beyond any doubt as I hoped he would due to the dedication and care which she displayed for him.

However, wishful thinking aside, I believe it to be true.

Ironically, if it is true, that would mean that all those in pro-Aerith for Cloud camp who argue that the odds being stacked in favor of Aerith being his date for the Gold Saucer -- and, thus, his destined true love -- (as she has a higher starting affection level than Tifa, Barret, or Yuffie) would have to concede that the game has things stacked in favor of Cloud opening up to Tifa later, as one would have to go out of their way to be a complete jerk to her to achieve the less-affectionate outcome. It really is balanced out between them.
