The journey began in 1999. I got FFVII for my 16th birthday.
Now I'm 21, and even more of a nerd than ever before:D
FFVII!
You should hav made this one a poll. It would be quite interesting to see what everyone started with in statistical form, but anyhow.....my first was VIII and its my favorite :D
Mine was the original SNES version of Final Fantasy IV. I think I was 5 years old...maybe 6 or 7. I don't remember, my brother used to help me with it a lot because I was so young. Then I played FFVI, then FFIX, then FFVIII, FFX, FFX-2, and then finally FFVII.
My nes has too died... so has my snes. So sad...Quote:

I started at its roots. The original Final Fantasy for NES. I never considered myself a fan until FF6 though, but I played all the American releases in order. Excluding the gameboy games (Legends and Adventure) and Mystic Quest. Which had to be done on Emulators. Since I've joined the internet world I've tried ALL the FF games up to X-2. Never finished FFX so I figured why bother. Sadly I think I'm falling out of the FF-love... And XII doesn't look to re-inspire. So here's hoping FF:AC or something can help me out. Yay for the GBA remakes though :)
First played FF II(SNES). I liked it enough to play FF III(still on SNES) when it came out. Now, FFIII is my favorite game in the entire series.
Final Fantasy VII.
Yeah that's right.
yup. Same here.Quote:
