Here's my prediction -- This thread will be filled with spam.
The Earth will be destroyed to make room for a space superhighway.
The final human discovers that the entire planet was made for mice.
People still predict doomsday. It never comes.

if the world ends it ends. I tend not too worry about stuff like that because there isnt much to be done about it from where im sitting. If it ends due to a final battle taking place between Heaven and hell, with demons and angels fighting in the streets, then at least there'll be something cool to watch!

Tabloid fodder and only that. People have been predicting the end for years. I have the strange feeling Nostradamus and other "prophets' were on LSD or just were really bad poets.

I figure if the world really is going to end soon there's not much we can do about it, and it won't matter once we all get wiped out, so why worry about it?

This poor planet needs a rest anyway.

Actually, it's a known phenomena that as people get older, time seems to pass faster. Don't know why that works like that. Presumably due to brain structuring. But older people get bored less easily, and other stuff. Hence children are always so hyper and stuff in comparison to adults.
