Quick with the topics? Keep up? Uh not every topic is going to appeal to you. I usually abuse the "New Posts" link and just skimm the titles. One catches my interest, I'll usually jump in. Some I have to question and just hold the mouse over to get the tool tip with a snippet of the first post. But what I'm getting at is you don't have to keep up with EVERY topic. Just join in the ones that interest you. There are indeed a lot of posts. But not so many topics really interest me. 3 pages of new posts. And I feel like joining in maybe 10. It keeps me active without getting out of control.
