Translation: Because when people type like this I have to read it like 3 times to understand what it even means.
I don't mind it much when people change "you" to "u" or whatever, but when its the whole sentance / paragraph that your trying to read, its pretty damn difficult. Its even worse when people type like that AND put no punctuation in.
MSN LANGUAGE IS DA BST ALL O YALL H8ERZ OUT DERE CAN GO AWAY U SUK URE JST GEEKZ!!!!
I'm okay with it, it's humorous, but I don't use it. But let's all worship ROFFLECOPTER and LOLLERSKAAATES~
Worst of all, all in capitals, a flourescent colour, underlined, italics, bold and in MSN talk. That makes my eyes go weird...and i hate it when people have random smilies as some of their letters of the alphabet...god! i new one that could do the entire alphabet in bouncing smilie letters: never give them the crucial Q!
I only use it to make fun of people. When it's used as everyday conversation language it's stupid and I consider it a sign of lower intelligence or indifference. Leet Speak, AOLer language, whatever you want to call it, is annoying.
It reminds me of Chavs to be honest! :D
Yeah, basically it makes you look thick.
The other day i accidentally went "WTF?!" instead of "what the smurf?!" and all my friends gave me the most odd look. Rule number one: always use words not letters...with the exception of i and a.....and o
typing in full iz 4 geeks
Abbreviations like that often drive me insane.
I speak English.
