Even Hanna Barbera admited that creating the character was a mistake.
Even the people responsible for Yogi Bear regretted it.

puppy power whats not to like hes cool at least better as scooby dum
I used to love the episodes with scrappy in them when I was four. I also loved the episodes with scoobys cousin. That white hill billy. Admittedly I laughed out loud for a good two minutes when scrappy was revealed to be (SPOILER)the bad guy in the first scooby movie The rest of the gang hates him as much as most people from what I can remember. I think they abandoned him in the desert or something when he peed in the mystery machine.
I love scrappy doo, can't believe you don't.
scrappy is alright, though I think he was overdone... and then overdone some more. Got to the point where he got just plum annoying. But at first he was alright.
The whole damn show sucked.
Don't like puppies anymore....
Scrappy, you suck.
You made little annoying puppies look bad...or worse....
That's pretty much how I feel about him. I think his voice was a big problem along with the in-your-face attitude.Quote:

Really? I thought cartoon creators loved their characters WAY too much--whether if that character was annoying or not.Quote:

Shaggy was the real star, and you all know it.
