I'd do a lot of things with the money.

I'd give a lot to a dogs home, as I love dogs muchly. Then with the rest I'd put in numerous banks, & I'd just get some out & spend when I wanted to.

That'll leave me apparently with £800,000...

£300,000 = House in Edinburgh, Scotland.
£150,000 = House in Auckland, NZ (Navah House, to be specific).
That's... £350,000 in the bank. I can live with that. I'd buy a couple of boats, a cheap bach in Corromandel and put the rest in the bank and return to work, probably. Working will be a lot more fun when I can actually do whatever I want with the money. I'd also rent out the houses I'm not currently using. Although I'd be pretty damned strict with who gets to stay in Navah House, though, as it's the house I grew up in.

That means I can travel in and out of NZ, US and UK as I please for the rest of my life. I'd be happy with that for sure.

Of course, should I marry Sarah someday, I wouldn't need the Green Card... so that'd be an extra US$1,000,000. I'd probably just buy a lot of random stuff with that, like furniture and vacations and whatnot.

I'd buy a house in Toronto, a car, furniture and everything. I think I'll have some left, maybe, so I'd just put it in the bank. :D

I'd give some to charity and my friends and family, I'd keep enough money to support me for a while and get me into uni and stuff, and get a car and give a lot to my Mother and Dad to get them a new house and car or something! I'd buy a trampoline and give my Mother money toward her dream of owning a cat and dog shelter, It'd help her along the way!

Ah, what would I do?

I'll probably put a large portion of it in the bank and in investments, give a quantity as zakat and with the rest I'll buy a beautiful villa on the beach with a gym and a swimming pool, a big big boat, a porsche, a BMW, a cat, designer clothes, really cool electronic gadgets and start my own magazine and maybe a publishing company.

Ah, dreams...what would we do without them?

I would probably spend a lot on myself, but not all...
I'd fly to somewhere where it's poor, then just dump a load of money in the desert...

I would travel, faaar away....

I would invest it, along with all the money I earned.

Then one day, when there was lots of money in there, I would give some to charity, some to my friends and family and then keep the rest and treat myself. ;)
