Slaying enemies - fastest way?

Haha, usually I automatically get stuck with Cloud, Barret and Tifa
in the beginning and then suddenly change Tifa with Cid.
I´ve also started to develop a passion for Yuffie, she´s very cute in that spunky way I love. :)

And fairly quick, I reccomend buying armor that has the growth status double, and putting all your yellow and purples there, since they dont link and they take longer anyway, and link green and blue in a regular weapon. I have mastered 15 materia and I'm climbing Gaia cliff at the beggining of disc 2

Well yeah, I was actually saved in Cave of the Gi by the "Frog Song", it was really funny to transform the annoying spiders into small frogs, haha! :p

I just cast Beta on those spiders and problem solved. I also found that the two cheapest ways to kill the Gi Nattak boss is either (a) use a phoenix down (only has about 25% chance of working, though), (b) use an X-potion, (c) cast white wind on him a couple of times (in addition to knocking off about 3000 hp per cast, it also inflicts every possible status ailment that it's vulnerable to), or (d) Jus cast Cure 2 on him a couple of times. Yeah, good 'ol enemy skill was my favorite materia, mainly due to the fact that most of the Blue magic in FF VII cost less MP than a comparative normal spell and usually hit all enemies at once. Goblin Punch, which costs 0MP and does physical damage is a great way of saving Limit Breaks until you actually need them without having to use MP casting spells.

You could also use Manipulate materia and force enemies to attack the character you want to be hit. I did just that and it works.

When you get to disc two, Mideel is a great place to train. I mastered most of my materia there and got a few limit breaks up too.

The forests after the Mythril Mines and before Junon yield the highest enemy counts per battle. Matra Magic is usually enough to do them in.
