Ah, "my balls", another favourite suggestion from last year's version of this thread:p You can have some fun by giving everyone this name:

"What are you gonna do with my balls?"

"But my balls, surely you hear voices when you're alone?"

"I'm sorry, I can't go with you... I'm going to stay here and look after my balls."

"Oh, my balls..."

"Why, thank you for bringing my balls back safely."

...and so forth.

Except, of course, for Barret, who needs to be called "T".

Thankyou :D i always like to think of good names when doing my characters

the 2nd time i played it i called red Xiii by his real name nanaki .. of course when you get to cosmo canyon the bloke at the entrance tells you his real name is nanaki and it just made him look like a stupid twat.

Name Aeris 'My Penis' and wait until she gets kidnapped and you go back to her house...theheheheheheehhe

I named Red XIII to Rex the second time I played it. Or FireBreather. He looks like he's on fire.

This time around I gave Cloud the name "Peter Pan". It makes the storyline more interesting.

How about using all your friends' names as characters? I remember I did that one time for Chrono Trigger

Yeah, after a few playthroughs, I just name all the characters after people I know.

i.e. Main character = me, and the main character's love interest = a girl I know...

You might name Vincent "D". I don't know why, but those two are pretty similar in my mind. >.>

Cloud - Sephiroth
Barret - Tifa
Tifa - Bob
Aeris - my boobs
Red XIII - Cait sith
Cait Sith - Vincent
Vincent - Cid
Cid- cloud

naming Aeris my boobs was the smarest thing I have done you'd see stuff like
"Come back my boobs!" etc

I do that, its a bit sad but it makes the game more realsitic (in a way)
