Getfirefox.com and the plethora of IT articles and product reviews praising Firefox over Internet Explorer would do a better job of answering this question than I could, but let me list a few things.Quote:

- Tabbed browsing (without the need of a third-party add-on). Once I became familiar with it, I don't know how I could have lived without it. CTRL+T and clicking on links with the scrollwheel button became my new friends real fast. Opening up new tabs saves yourself a lot of space on the taskbar.
- Themes and Extensions. When you do become tired of the look of your browser, download a new theme. In addition, you can customize your browser using a multitude of extensions (read: add-ons) to make your browsing experience as fun as pie.
tabbed browsing is one of the greatest things since meat!Quote:

Uh.....huh?
Dimmkah, anytime I hear you soeak, I'm unsure whether the cheese has officially slid off the cracker or not...that's why I love you so much!
Every release of Firefox since I got it has made me sadder and sadder. First update broke my skins, second update broke my extensions, and now I'm getting regular "Updates available" popups when I play games and leave my download window open, except it's just to update my themes, which the updater downloads and then can't install because they're incorrect versions or something. And I can't figure out how to turn it off.
I still love the browser, though.
This is why I only upgrade when I get a new computer. Well, that and I'm just lazy. :DQuote:

What a compelling argument, consider me swayed.Quote:

Is there any doubt? Honestly, ask yourself. Why would someone so powerful need to 'waste' the time to learn how a new browser works? Psh.Quote:

Why do I like firefox?
Tabs. Landsakes. The w3c needs to get a 'open in new tab' into the next reccomendations for browsers to pick up (tabless browsers can replace it with a new window, perhaps:P)
I don't know if you guys realize how awesome it is. Just one push of a scroll wheel. and it's a new window!
Oh, and you don't have any incentive to use non-standard html in your documents you code for the web. Makes validation a lot easier:D
Firefox doesn't like to randomly FORCE an iframe to horizontally scroll. IE does. and I get told off by a layout reviews site because the chick is stupid enough to use IE:) Opera doesn't make it scroll, either xD
Firefox allows you to use small, decently sized navigational buttons, instead of the huge monstrocities in IE:)
Mozilla won't randomly decide to charge you to use firefox in the future, and even if they did, the code is open source so a variant of it will be available for free somewhere, because that's how that stuff works xD
and of course, you have the 'uninstall' option available in firefox:) Certain other browsers seem to lack that.
Browsing should be something that browsers do, not an entire OS. just like defining colors and styles should be something a stylesheet does, not an entire html document.
(and did I mention you don't have to look at those ugly scrollbars from people that think some friggin' hideous colors go well together? I don't believe I did. I don't see why people *care* about thosexD)
