I have my killsquad, and they are on par with skyblade's forces, or close enough for it not to make much of a difference, so not everyone is a weakling here. I also laughed long and hard at your litle advertisement for Cid, and I can't wait to get him. He's gonna be a "neat" little support character.
What would you say is your best character, skyblade?

probably one of his many assasins
and dont get too excited about cid hes not that good, true he has some good abilities but his stats arent all that good. and lets not forget he only has 3 panel walk range, and its not worth giving him a ninja tabi if you only have one.
oh and sky i think i stand a pretty good change against you. your not the only maxed out here :D

assassins are good against computers, but I have people that are an actual pain to face for a human strategist. More fun that way. And What is your little 4-man squad of doom? (you could post a 6-man squad if you want, but thats too many people on the field at once for me. Everything feels cluttered when there are more than 7 units on the field.)

I never found any of the secret characters to be of any real use except for (SPOILER)Shara and Little Villi, both of which are not the "super secret" characters like Ezel, Babus, and Cid. It's sad, really, that they would limit these special classes so much by not allowing anyone to customize them via mastering new abilities. The greatest blow is their sickeningly inability to gain a combo. Couple this with a horrid Speed stat, and a common low Move stat... *sigh
It's better simply to create uber-awesome god characters from scratch, traveling along the rungs of particular classes so that your team grows as you wish it to.
Takes some planning, and some patience, but in the end, having a character with 600 to 680 stats for many things, save for speed which is nigh impossible to get over 270, is well worth it (this is counting equiped items).

Ezel is one of those characters you taunt your friends with... he's basically for show. But if you get desperate just equip him with a cactus mace and all- he might be able to do something.
Azoth is sometimes useful (looking on the bright side)- That can disable Reaction abilities and give you enough time to set up a might good strategy or combo.
Another this is that while your enemies are asleep, you can disable, immobilize, blind and such the opponent.
But in the end after I sounded like I took his side, to me- he's not a really specky character... he's in my clan for show.

ezel sucks. he does. i can get a blue mage, and if I hand out fortune rings to everyone, then I use the night ability, I got azoth right there. the rings keep night from hitting my people, and it just does it's magic on the enemies, and since it's a blue-mage using it, there's likely alot of other useful abilities hiding in his meager little frame, like Angel's Whisper or Bad Breath. Fear the bad breath! so I repeat, ezel sucks.

Azoth is cool when you couple it with an all or nothing move. I got up to having Ritz and Ezel before accidently deleting my game :sob: . I had Lini the awesome Knight/juggler lvl 43 and a Summoner/ele lvl 42. The rest wer at least 39. Now i'm rebuilding with more emphasis on making my viera a assasin instead. I like having at least on of every race plus maybe another from something like the other bangaa line or a Human or maybe i'll still get another summoner. But yeah i never used ezel although he's okay if all you wanna do is just stop may opponents completely. Ritz felt wrong as now all you have is Fencer moves and so ur stuck having to try and get an assasin. My friend bought the game with a far file that had all 300 complete with cid just owning those judges. I had over 150 misions complete and 90 hours clocked in when i deleted :sob:
