I've never been bothered to go out of my way to listen to it. It doesn't sound very appealing, since I don't like J-Pop, and the two, from what I've heard, seem to be similar.

Never heard of the stuff. Though I think I heard a song by Gakt and it was pretty cool
I just downloaded a few songs, and it sounds a lot better than I thought it would. I was expecting some cruddy techno rock/pop with some japanese guy screaming.
