Japanese release date revealed.

This generation just doesn't seem to end, huh? There are great games scheduled for the end of the year (or the beggining of the next, like FFXII), and even Square-Enix has its bullets to shoot at these "final moments" of the current generation of consoles...

About the release date: Damn late! How long have they been working on FFXII? Three, four, maybe five years? Maybe it's because this is the first Final Fantasy game I'm really looking forward, visiting internet sites and searching magazines for some pics and such, but it has been a long time since Square-Enix started working on it... Oh well, there are great RPGs coming up before FFXII... Guess I'm gonna have to buy a few (or lots, if the NA version gets released in the end of the next year...)...

I don't believe a March '06 state-side release for a second. If it's coming out March 16, '06 in Japan I wouldn't expect it until September '06 at the very earliest, realistically, I wouldn't expect it until November or December.

Wow...we'll get it about Christmas 2006...if we're lucky...and if that date is true anyway...however, I find the picture of the FFX-2 case not very reassuring. =/

The gameplay footage I've seen has been in english and usually when they give you samples it's not. So it could come out the same time here as japan. But thats prolly just wishfull thinkin.
