I'm guessing the majority of the fans of the game got a PS1 for Christmas in '98, since that's the time frame when they came with the demo disc with Tomba on it.Quote:

In the first one, there's a group of evil pigs collecting gold to take over the world, and they steal your gold bracelet, which was an heirloom from your grandfather. So you set out to kill the pigs and set the crazy world back to normal.
It most involves hitting things with a blackjack and then biting them. It's a 2D nonlinear platformer/RPG with a very distinct style when it comes to everything. Brilliant game.
Nope, I never got the demo, either. Hell, I've never even played the first game :PQuote:
Did Whoopee Camp just send everyone but me a copy of the demo, or what?
I own the second game (The Evil Swine Return), but its gameplay wore out for me after a couple days of playing it, basically because I got hopelessly stuck on a certain part.
I liked some items you could get such as the grappling hook that you could get.
If you want but don't have either game, though, you're in some deep doo-doo because both games are pretty difficult to find, let alone in working condition (I rented the first Tomba two different times from two different places, and it didn't work either time). I bought my copy of T!2 the same year it came out (1999), so that's why I have the game.
I got my demo on PS Underground. I must've played it an awful lot, but I eventually got rid of all my PSUs.Quote:

I only played the demo, and it was pretty fun, but thats as far as i got.
