should probably play MGS1 first, although its not nessecary
MGS2 is extremly easy on very easy, but if you live in Europe, theres European Extreme mode, if your seen its game over, I got up to Fortune before giving up on it and went back to hard.
But anywayz, the MGS series are class, get them...
European extream is solid!! just like the games name implies, 'metal gear solid'
European Extream is in the US version too.
It's in Substance but not the original game. Same case with MGS3 and Subsistence.
I just hope they make subsistance for the XBox as well as the PS2.

basicly play them in order. you can get away with playing mg 1 and 2 after mgs 1, 2 and 3 when subsistence comes out.
Play 1 first because it explains the storyline much better than MGS2. It's also better and harder.
