My first job was a paper route when I was twelve. I used the money to buy a drumset.
My first real job was a dishwasher when I was sixteen, and I spent most of that money on booze.

Steel fixer/labourer on a building site when I was 16. Sucked the big one, but the pay was good.
My first job was when I was 14. I worked in a bar/restuarant and prepared food for buffets. :)
I'm ten and I do taxes for my mom and dad for $100.
I was an umpire for tee-ball and coachpitch. Made some real good money (about 10 dollars an hour), but it was too hard, so I quit when the season ended.
I'd say that volunteer work counts towards having a job, since you can count it as job experience.Quote:

I should get a real job sometime, but I'm just so lazy.
Never had one really. Well if you count sucking people's blood
Technically, civil servant at 20 (still am).
When I was 17 I got my first job at Disneyland. It was good. The drive was too far though, which was harsh, and then my car died so I had to quit.
I've been volunteering at the local library, and they're looking to hire somebody for about 10 hours a week, so I'll probably get that job. I should have gotten a real job over the summer, but I didn't want to have to spend all my money on a car, and I'm too lazy anyway.
>>> So its called volunteer work.Quote:

I haven't had my first official job yet. :-[ My parents don't work, so it's been tight and I've thought about getting a job. But since no one hires a 14 year old, I'm going to try juggling helping out the 7th and 8th grade musicians at my old middle school 1 hour/$15-$20 two or three days a week, getting a 10 year old started on piano, and tutoring math to another 10 year old. ...Yeah. It's going to be a crazy year.
I was a telecommunications installer at the age of 16. You?
I work at Albertsons. It's your store.
