You mean like those people that make observations about Internet culture and then create threads stating so?

Then there are people like me, who get their kicks from being part of an Internet community, yet at the same time think themselves above the Internet community by pointing out the irony in a topic created by a person belonging to the group of people who make observations about Internet culture. This, however, stems from the fact that they have little or no social interaction offline and must prove themselves superior to a bunch of faceless conformists.

Although I think that, maybe, until you start to really get to know them, a lot of people seem the same. When you start becoming close, then you can make more of a distinction. Or not, hell if I know. Blegh.
