Ring tones are cool, the only ring tone I can't stand is that crazy frog. The crazy frog should be banned or used as a form of torture.

I agree. I find it more annoying with people using their cell phones obnoxiously in public with extremely loud ringtones than them just having ringtones.

I have a few ringtones but since I never even use my phone except for emergencies, I don't have that problem.

My phone has a groovy trance beat. It makes me hot.

My present cellphone was my dad's old ancient pre-MMS/anything col cellphone given to me as a punishment coz i lost me brand new siemens phone. it has no ringtones and no wallpapers. :(

btw, I don't have a problem ringtones.

My phone VIBRATES because it feels so, so good.

I have songs i recorded on it so its an actual song and not Mono or whatever.
This man in Subway had 'In The Shadows' as a ringtone, i couldnt stop grinning :D

I don't mind ringtones much, I usually just roll my eyes if I think it's a stupid/annoying one.

However, my "Charlie Brown Theme" makes me happy when I get a call. :D

It definitely depends on the ringtone. Some are pretty decent while some other are annoying. I remember once when I worked at the Japanese Department library in Venice there was this man who didn't turn off his phone. I wanted to grab the damn thing, open the window, and throw it straight into the Canal Grande.
