Actually, I don't like the A's because their "different brand of baseball" is soul-less and makes me want to puke.

And yes, Billy Beane is a great GM. But his team still makes me throw up.

Yeah, the A's do a good job going against the baseball fraternity that has always dominated the sport. It's great. The Braves are the NL A's, and quite frankly are a lot better at it. I would have loved to see them in a series but Oakland has an uphill climb if they even want to make the playoffs.

That's an entirely different situation. :p Nobody thought that was a good idea at the time, considering Hicks was competing with himself.

I've got a bundle of problems with Rangers' management, in that John Hart is an incompetent idiot, Buck Showalter doesn't understand what it means to give young, talented players a chance over his gritty veterans, and Tom Hicks let Chan Ho Park and Alex Rodriguez scare him to death. However, the Rangers are a fun team to watch, and the pitching staff they have at this very instant is not that atrocious.

Look on the bright side.

When Showalter leaves, the Rangers will get to the World Series.
