I <3 MSN but mass MSN convos usually suck, for the reasons Paul listed. I prefer the smaller Y!M kinds because you get to sing on them. :D

They scare me...

the few msn convos i've been ion have been started by psy and its usually him and baloki goingf "I AM BORIS MEOW MEOW BORIS WHOO YOU NO BORIS I REAL BORIS WHOO YEAH"
many many times. it is amusing but my brain explodes when there are more then 6 people in there ;[
Y!M voice chat is great. although only been in one with the eoff gang during which i was toldi had a phone sex call voice :S

Mass convos suck. Voice convos can be amusing, mainly cos Psy goes nuts and starts screaming incoherently into his mic.

I find massed conversations extremely difficult to follow. You try to reply to what someone just said, but another party says something before you can hit "send", possibly without you noticing - so things get out of order pretty fast. Especially when you're repeatedly dragged into the conversation by others. Very messy.

lol, Lenna dragged me into one with Spiffing Cheese, yuna_elena, ToD, Crash and a whole lot of others I cant remember. At one point there were like 13 people in there! It was all random bs though, and very soon, it dispersed.

Anyway, the only MSN Mass conversations ive actually put effort into, were the "staff meetings" at my forum, when the mods and I would talk about stuff.
