It's a creepy movie and all, but really......

I guess that's why some people find it funny. In a "holy $hit what are they screaming at, its just a movie", kind of way, which makes it lame. That's what some people find funny, the fact that it's so lame.

Exactly. They are totally overreacting, I swear one of them was crying at the end.

Having said that though, it's not funny.

Isn't the girl from The Ring a really terrifying character to Japanese folk? And that's why The Ring/The Grudge etc all have the same type of scary character in them? Girls with long hair covering thier faces.
We don't find it scary cause that isn't something truly terrifying to us, unlike to them... If I remember what someone once told me. :D
