I lost interest in VI's eventually.
VIII's just got stupid towards the end. IX's did too.
X's story held my interest for a good while, until it kept getting filled with fluff because the creators realized they had finished telling it halfway through the game.
So I like VII!
FFVII has definetly the best storyline from the final fantasies I have played.
It just has.

I almost voted 9 instead of six, but i was disapointed in nines character backrounds, since Amarant, my favorite character, never really had one.

FF7 has the best storyline and from what I hear they are adding to the storyline and it sounds awsome.
It's really close between FFX and FFVII. VII was dark, which I really like, but X is also depressing, which is just as good.
After pretending to do eenie meenie minie mo mo mo mo, I will vote for X.

FFT was the best IMO, but since its not on the list. I vote for FFVI.
