That could be wrong? Back in the days of MUDS, the ultimate spell that admins could cast was mispelled to pwn, which could be targeted at everyone on the game :) This was also a grammar boo-boo.

It came on a premade mud set, I think DIKU??? I cannot remember for the life of me though.

damn, people get a little too defencive around here [/irony ;)]

Anywho. brings back fond memories, as whn I launched a Mud using the codebase... the man pages had the command as OWN, when the command that needed to be typed was PWN ... frustration! I changed it then, now I kick myself for not trademarking the phrase :(
