Games don't kill people, emo kids do.

Joel - Kane's right. Mortal Kombat lost its controversy back in the 90s. It takes new kinds of gore now to get the media's ire.

EDIT: In fact, it's tough for a fighting game to be controversial nowadays. You need a long story line with violent murder and other stuff to be considered "bad" now.

What's wrong and dumb and horrible about making suggestions to parents about which games are the most violent? No one under 14 has any business playing any of those games anyway (not that I would care if they did though).

And yeah, Mortal Kombat just isn't all that amazingly violent next to so many other games anymore.

I know what emo is, but I fail to see how it relates to this article... unless I actually don't know what emo is and am full of it. Emo is some kind of heavy metal music or something, right?
