Because he's never called in, you don't NEED him... like you need Lulu or Wakka... Yuna and Rikku aren't called in a lot either, but from time to time, You'll need Yuna's summoning technique for the bitchy enemies and Rikku can always get those treasure chests...
Kimahri can be whatever you want him to really, and its you who will make him useless. It's useful for him to learn the steal technique, as when you're fighting the ronso on Mt Gagazet, you can steal Lvl 3 key spheres from them.
Personaly, Kimahri was one of my best characters.
Actually, for me, Khimari isn't useless at all. I use him as a replacement Tidus because he's so close to his part of the grid.
And yes, I refuse to ever use Tidus in battle unless I'm forced to.
And near the end of the game, there's really only three useful characters - Yuna, Rikku, and Auron. And that's because they're the only three for whom you can acquire their celestial weapons without throwing your controller at the wall and watching all the pretty plastic pieces fly all over the room.
in my party, Kimahri has the highest stats for HP/Str and perhaps more where that came from. but by this time, everyone in the party is a master attacker and mage. his Overdrives, i find useful for knocking off multiple enemies (Fire Breath, Self-Destruct, Nova, etc). there should be more 12 enemy skills that can be learned...
i think its cos no matter which way u take him, he'll never be as good as the person whose path u've sent him down
Been there, done that.Quote:

1)he is my 4th best character
1 tidus
2 Yuna
3 Auron
then kimarhi
5 Rikku
6 Wakka
7 Lulu
2)I got tidus's cadalborg at full power...I almost through my control through the TV but I got it
3)captruing monsters is making me want to sell my capture weapons
4)I like non-human character's normally *hence name* expect Cait sith but that's cause he's a dirty traitor(2 times over)
okay I think that's it oh right I have never used Kimhari's self destruct espically not after I got nova
It's a hell of a lot easier than chocobo racing, butterfly catching, lightning dodging, or thirty hours of blitzball.Quote:

Kimahri is anoying smurfer, but, I must admit he is probably my strongest charachter. He is 2 times faster then Tidus, and stronger than Auron. I sent him down Tidus path, then he made a jump to Aurons path, and it just so happens Tidus and Aurons paths meat at the middle of Tidus and the end of Auron's, yay strength +4!
EDIT: Kimahri is pretty much the 'Red Mage' of FFX.
Kimarhi is best if you train him as a theivin' items using white mage.
Use, steal, then head right in the middle range white magery. A*head* of yuna.
means you get dispel with evrae and even more holy against yunalesca, *and* he's already got steal for biran and yenke:]
him and his self destruct helped me get that last peice of hp off the dragon like, boss you meet while trying to save Yunie wunie.Quote:
