Why Swedish?
I'm learning Spanish through school. I have no interest in it, which I think is due to every Spanish class I've been in being filled with idiots.
I started to learn Japanese on my own and was able to learn just below tourist level, most of which I now forget.
Why Swedish? Because it's an awesome language.
And because I'm Swedish. ;P So I want to understand my relatives.
I speak Danish, fluently. It's very similar to Swedish.
English is my first. I know a few years of French but I hate the language frankly and so I can't be bothered to even try to remember it. I know a bit of Spanish cause' my family likes to go there for holidays and my class was able to learn Spanish as a second language for one year, then we changed teachers and our current teacher dosn't do Spanish so thats that gone.
I'd like to learn Finnish but I highly doubt I'll be able to. Its one of the hardest languages to learn.
ButChrisMandinka believed I was Finnish for a while :p
Spanish was my first language. I picked up English quickly to the point where I haven't had an accent since I was eight. I did three years of French in high school and hopefully, if time permits, I will take some more classes before I graduate uni. ;) I really want to learn Russian, though.
I speak english but, I know a little spanish and a fair amount of french.
My mother tongue is English, but since my paternal grandmother's side of the family is French-Canadian and i went to school in an area where the language was half and half I was put into the Early French Immmersion program since I started school. So I got about 12 years of that (13 if you count kindergarten). Now in university, I was considering majoring in Classics, so I took an intro course for Ancient Greek, but I think next year I will drop it considering I am thinking of not majoring in Classics anymore.
I'm in a french class, and I'd love to be able to speak it fluently someday:O
and I'm fairly sure that it's obvious english is my first language:(
im taking japanese right now...:choc2:
German, some Swedish (like, 3 words xD), some French and a bit of Japanese. Enough to get by on anyway.
Oh wait, and english. But that's my worst one. xD
finnish, english, swedish. I guess that's it.
