Where to start FF?

do start with Final Fantasy VII, but never skip the most important chapter of all - which would be Final Fantasy VIII.

Hurray for Anime Girls! and I say start with 6 or nine.

Start with VII otherwise any lower you might be put off with the graphics....:)

if you like cliche storylines and simple as gameplay where you never ever ever lose.... go for VII.

VIII is neato :) its cliche but includes hard gameplay.

If you really want to get into FF, I suggest you start from FFI and go up from there. Anything else wouldn't be correct. :cat:

Seems the most popular opinion is VII so I think I'll start there.

I know that people we're "supposed" to play them 1 and on, but hey, like I said, I dont want to be put off of the series.

So tommorow, Imma find me a copy of VII. :)

I agree with Raistlin that FF7 is a great place to start, but if you're up to the intellectual challenge of micromanaging a battlefield, Tactics is the way to go. :)
