Lifeforce = pireflies has been extensevely discussed and documented here (also at GAMEFAQ)

Nojima has not left SE, he was just on loan to Disney for a long time. He is now working as director of FFVII Before Crisis, as an independent contractor.
Since Before Crisis is a prequel to FFVII it seems like the perfect place for him to expand on his FFX / FFVII world link idea (FFX happens 1,000 years before FFVII).
I have a lot more Nojima quotes and International Mission quotes collected here, including Shinra partnering with Rin to use Vegnagun's remains to see how Vegnagun used the Farplane as energy source

I am ambivalent on liking the idea. On one hand, I wrote some fan fiction about exploring Spira's Farplane energy so it is nice to see I was "right on the money". On the other hand, it seems a bit forced and contrived, like those suspense series that last too long on TV (i.e. LOST). After a while the plot gets so ridiculously twisted and sensational you just can't believe it enough to enjoy it any longer..
God I hate Nojima... *mumbles various curses and stabs a voodoo doll of him in hopefully a very painfull place*
Personally though, I would like to find out if relativity applies in this X/VII universe, as that could cause some problems with travelling to another planet, with our current understanding of physics, but I won't go into that...

As I said before... All Final Fantasy's are connected in a parellel universe and they are all brother's and sisters... LOL.
There is no logical explination. I mean, There are simularities, but I don't think that it matters. I mean, they probobly forgot about it themselves. I mean, Shinra was kinda suspicious when I first played the game, but they always do something like that. They make it seem like they are all connected together in some way.
Like Final Fantasy XII, wasn't there a place already called Ivalice? Hmm... But not the same charecters?
Final Fantasy X-2, Shinra?
Things we will not know until they make the last game of the series. (Which will be what? 80 years? lol.) Something tells me they are connected in someway. But I'm not sure what yet. :choc2:
Hmm... true, So we going to have to wait untill the finally last final fantasy :DQuote:

Well I just started playing final fantasy VII...for the first time, don't look at me. I have played 8-X2 (and some of 12...duh). but anyway so I noticed , when Cloud enters AVALANCHE for the first time and goes to the meeting when Jesse turns on the screen there is a guy on it, kinda like one of LeBlancs members..not really though just giving a description, and on it they are giving reports about the explosion and it says SIN on it as the main title. Hmmm now I have only played this up a little farther...but that is just one thing, besides what else I have listed, this isn't any solid facts just another "coincidence".
EDITED: I just want everyone to know, this is just an observation I immediatly saw JUST in the beginning of the game...seems to be just a bit to coincidental
hmm. nice point.
Well i've been reading about this i do think FFX-2 and FFVII
are connected. I remebered when FFX-2 sprits when they die you can here the crying and screaming like FFVII life stream.
And i remebered at the sceen when Yuna says
"A city full of lights one that never sleep.... But i would never get
to see it."
And I think YuRiPa have something to make them alive in FFVII, maybe they alive in FFVII don't know where they are but they are probly there.;)
No they arent connected, they just used the names.
