Katakana say "Serisu", but I don't know how to spell it fonetically in English.
I dont play ff 6 but hey ill give it a try hmmm let me i think ill go with Sel-us thats what it looks like ne ways
SE-LES
SELL-ess
Did you know that Celes spelled backward with a t at the endmakes the word 'select'? I noticed that when I was reading my FFVI strat guide upside down (I was bored as usual.)
Serisu -> Seris-> Selis-> Seh Lees. Ta Da! So I guess I was right :cat:Quote:

Or not. Who knows. But like I read in FF Conpendium's name origins, if you combine Celes and Tina's names, it makes "Celestina", which I thought was pretty interesting :choc2:
When I was little I said it Sell-Ease
But now, after knowing someone with the name Seles, I pronounce it Suh-less
At first, we said "SELL-eez", but now, I say "sel-ESS". I believe that's how it's said. I think it may be a variation on the european female name "Celeste" (pronounced "SELL-est")

Like "celestial" minus the "-tial". In other words "suh-les*.
