For graphics you should try Jasc Paint shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop, and for animations try Jasc Animation Shop or Adobe Imageready - I find that Jasc Animation shop is a lot easier for animations and that Photoshop is better for graphics although it isn't easier to use. :grinpink:

Imageready is so annoying so Animation shop might be better because Imageready is so hard.

I like your use of colour schemes. I find them a bit bright though, and maybe you should lower the contrast. Pretty good though. I would also recommend using a custom texture or a downloaded texture other than the default brick one.
