summoners (ff5, tactics) are awesome looking.

Lulu's character design is very intricate, and fraught with symbolism as all of ffx's characters are.

Leonheart in ff2 is just plain hot. I don't care if he is an 8-bit sprite:(

Yuna's Floral Fallal dressphere in ffx-2 is impressive, and her gunmage, trainer, and lady luck dresspheres are all gorgeous.

Squall is so hot that it's difficult to put thoughts of him into words.

Amarant's design is intriguing, especially after I saw one of amano's concept arts of him. And Freya's outfit is very interesting.

Galuf is just sexy.

1. Zidane - He the way he looks is just awesome.

Female

1. Garnet - Everywhere around, the perfect looking girl her age and size.

Mines a 2-way tie for Vincent and Rydia.

Rydia is defintely the best female... if only they had developed her character a bit more as an adult. Can Kefka even be considered a male, with the whole DIVINE thing?

Well, I always liked the way the black mages were designed, with their faces shrouded in mystery, and with their creepy yellow eyes.

I also loved the dress spheres in FFX-2. I loved how everyone had their own intricate outfit for each job

Sorry, I really can't pinpoint a single coolest-looking FF character.
