Maybe it's just me, but Guitar Solos don't particularly impress me. They have their moments, but I think that they should be more about creating a mood that goes with the music accompanying it, not just who can shred the fastest.

No one said it was about speed, it's about how sweet the solo sounds, solos dont have to be fast.Quote:

In all honesty, pretty much anything by this guy is the greatest guitar anything.
I just picked this one, cause I like this song at the moment.
All hail Stevie Ray.
Impressive.
(Thats all I can say!)
I dont have any best guitars solos but I thoroughly enjoy some of Claudio's from Coheed and Cambria.
Or the dead guy from Pantera...or even Slash from Guns N Roses
That was pretty lame.Quote:

Wish they had some of Chris Holmes's solo's on youtube.
Which is why Jimmy Page will always be the worlds greatest guitar player.Quote:

You may Like SRV better, but thats just becuase you don't know all of Jimmy Pages work, and you do know most of SRV.
I know them both very well, and nothing SRV has done nothing that can compair to Jimmy Pages "white summer".
Mozart + Betovheen + Jesus + God + bell Bottoms = Jimmy Page.
