Personally I think the Wii version looks awesome and that it actually has some kind of story this time around, but I'm still not 100% sure if I'll get a Wii.

I know that the style is odd for a numbered Final Fantasy game, but it indeed is Final Fantasy 3. Looky here: http://media.ds.ign.com/media/707/707320/vids_1.html

As for the news, that's quite good. I think I'm the only person who like FF:CC for the GCN. I'm looking forward to the Wii Version. :holmes:

It was playing on the big screen behind the guy talking, but you're right GameSpot did replace the video of the conference with direct footage.

No they are entirely different games, they just use a similar engine.

Here's more footage of FFIII from YouTube.

You can tell they are different if you look at things like the characters and setting as well as the battle system.

Awesome. New FF:CC. I can't wait. I liked the original a little. But I really don't like the controller... how am I going to cast magic with it?
