Anima for bosses.
I'm inclined to agree with Malboro_Menace, although my favorite is Great Malboro in Omega Ruins. One of the best looking versions of Malboros in any FF. No wonder once character in Tactics had one as a pet!
Although Elements have a strange elegance to them.
I really like Larvae as well. Wonder if they ever pupate?
I adore both Cactuar and Tonberry especially they appear as GF in FFVIII. Nothing beats a moving cactus and a night frog!

All the Behemoth family, including Catoblepas, they're all so huggable and lovely and *squeezes nearest Behemoth King* their finishing attacks don't scare me! *continues to hug all rather annoyed behemoths*
I like the classics.... Behemoths, Tonberrys and Iron giants
in terms of fighting, i like the uber enemies like nemesis and penance, cos all the other fights are over before they've started.
in terms of looks . . . chimera's look cool and chimera brain looks like chimera in trance mode :D
