Can I still join?

Haven't played chess in years,shoult try out before my skills get raw.

i say we hold up the tournament until neel gets back. until then, INSCRIPTION IS STILL OPEN.

well whenever is good for me......im on the comp atleast every 2nd day so i should know whats hapening without missing anything...

aslong as it isnt end-july to early-august.i got LOTS of weddings to go to...

hey.

man, good to see people are looking foward to this. inscription will close between tomorrow and tuesday. im looking foward to having Neel in the tournament. i'll pm him and hope for his joining (i think i read that he was out until june 12th...).

when i said late june, i meant late june. i'm the only one in an NZ time zone, which means my available times just won't line up with everyone else (16-19 hours away from the US, and 12 hours away from UK). in addition, i have a lot of things to do in my last two weeks in NZ and am trying to minimize online time to be more productive. i would have appreciated a pm prior to actually starting this up so i could at least have informed you about my situation (and not be caught completely by surprise about it starting).

btw, this is the 3rd eoff chess tournament. first one was in '01-'02. you don't need to have the winners of the last one. hell, no finalists from the first one showed up the second time around. so it shouldn't be a problem, although 13 might be a bit difficult to work with. never mind, 3 first round byes will do the trick. best of luck.

yeah i can send you the banners i used last time (i may have a psd template lying around) if you want, or you can make flashy new ones.
