Paranoia Agent, Bebop, Champloo, and FMA... I haven't gotten Bleach yet, but it's next on my list because people won't quit poking me about until I watch it.

.hack//Sign
I really enjoyed the world and everything created in it. It is like a slightly easier to understand version of Ghost in the Shell with the soul becoming detached from the body and stuff like that. Memories implanted into the game.
It is hard to separate the series from the whole story though as it was designed that way from the start.
.hack//roots and .hack//GU look to be taking the series in a more serious and darker direction.
Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X)...
Himura Kenshin can be describe as the coolest samurai ever...
I love the hiten mitsurugi style...
go battousai the slasher...
Rurouni Kenshin
Escaflowne!!!!
Samurai Pizza Cats
Magical Knight Rayearth
Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X
.hack//sign comes in close second
I thought I'd mention .hack is stupid.Quote:

Being a hack fan in general, one really big appeal to me is that there is more to the story than is ever told. The story has this huge mysterious back story that they have always dropped hints and bits of information about to help explain things but they never truely flesh it out. From the original poem that inspired the game Fragement which eventually became The World, to the whole problem with the virus Pluto's Kiss and how one OS became the only OS used in the world. All of that is very interesting.
Series moves slow as hell but there is a lot to it that isn't said which has always helped to keep it very interesting as you go through everything.
Yes, but I like calling things stupid. I will admit it had a good premise, also what is this Roots?Quote:

Yet.
*ahem*
Anyway, Note that this is just beginning info but it does have spoilers for those not familiar with all of the past .hack stuff and those who haven't really been following the whole GU thing. (SPOILER).hack//roots follows the Multiweapon Haseo. At that point the original version of the world crashed and it has been reassembled into a new game. PKing has become fairly rampant, and Haseo is a relatively new player to the world. As I understand, roots follows his own travels through the world as he grows in power. You do know that he eventually becomes the legendary PKKer before being data-drained by Tri-Edge, a malevolant being that resembles Kite, the main character of the original video games. Of course, you will play as Haseo in .hack//GU, which just came out in Japan.
Those MKV files are a bitch. Shinsen-Subs is putting out avi files of this series though. They are slower but good. They are up to episode 5. The only thing I have found to play the mkvs that groups are putting out for roots is VLC and even that crashes sometimes.
Sailor Moon, Ninja Scroll (series) and Hellsing.
Yes. It's really quite different from Eva once it gets going, and it does everything better.Quote:

Evangelion - So many layers, and a beutifully done peice. This could be one of THE MOST ARTISTIC works I have ever seen - period. It is THAT good - if you have the brain and interest to disect it.
