EoFF has some of the strictest rules and harshest moderators I've seen in a forum - and I've had my share of both. This has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that EoFF is a fairly safe place for children and adults alike.. the downside is that free speech is certainly not held in high regard, and one often has to think three or four times about what they're going to say, lest they be banned. I mean, I can't even say basic swear words here, everything has to be sterile and clean and nice... good for the kiddies, not so good for me. ;)Quote:
Don't come crying to us just 'cause the staff here's a bit more lax.
EDIT: I certainly hope I won't be banned for this criticsm...
On FFOnline, you can say and say whatever you want - including insulting other members, which is something that's done regularly there. It's not a 'PG13-Happy-Kiddies-Parents-Will-Approve' sort of place. There are, however, things that will get you banned - like arguing with certain members (mostly the moderating team and their cronies), or inciting fights and flame wars, etc.
It's still pretty hard to get banned there. I think even posting pornography doesn't earn you an instant ban... not to mention commenting on someone's font colour, or something.
Any idea what you may have done? The fact it says 'none' only means they didn't bother writing anything, not that you didn't do anything. Maybe they just thought you're lame or something. They're not a very nice bunch.
EDIT: Well, seems like you spammed and advertised. That's a bannable offence in most forums.
