FFVIII-2 would be after the restoration of Trabia Garden. Also, Balamb garden would become evil, but nobody would know at first... Remember NORG? And his little egg hatched some time in disc 3? Yeah, well that mystery was never solved, so I'm gonna say some kind of other evil NORG descendant rose and secretly took over Balamb, Squall and Co are SeeDs of Balamb but they don't know it's evil, but hell it's their Garden so they have to go along with whatever orders they get, the whole system will get corrupt, all of the Balamb SeeDs will get lied to, the whole world will go into war (Even Esthar) and then the new young SeeDs of the restoring Trabia Garden will rise and fight, blah blah blah, junk junk, kill a sorceress for the hell of it, more story, blah blah, card playing, more blah, flashbacks, blah, Trabia SeeDs win, with a few deaths in their team.

2. Who said FFX-2 sucked? It sooooo does not. It's my second favorite game. It's really fun. If you don't know you must not have played it. I insist you do.




Hence why I said "heard that it sucked." No I haven't played it, and I will...once I get a PS2 :eep:

FFX-2 is a waste of money, and it's probably the worst FF game i've ever played. I regret ever buying it and playing it. In fact, I even traded it in with a bunch of other games to get KH2. That's how bad I hated FFX-2.

Someone needs to seriously lighten up. I mean, are we doing something to offend you by talking about what a FF8 sequel would be like? My God... wtf

The idea that there's nothing to fix or tie up in FF8 just seems strange to me; the world is left at a temporary point of happiness in a world that's about to see some major political turmoil. But, that's what fanfic is for, I think. Without some crazy monster instead of a realistic plotline, I doubt it'd be seen as game material, and I'd rather it wasn't.

Square-enix doesn't have the best track record in FF sequels and keeping canon.
