I think the characters of FF3j are the strongest. At the end of the game, they can get 15x Hits with their normal attacks. Think about Cloud doing Omnislash as his most basic move. :p And when the Light Warriors get Haste cast on them...

That's more hits than Squall's Lion Heart, with the Attack command. Clearly, no Cloud or Squall will hinder them. :D
